I had a fantastically great time this weekend as Abi visited. It was amazing to see her again. Since then I have been doing what I have to do: go to lectures, attend seminars, read books, make notes. Itapos;s an awfully large amount of work.

Yesterday I was sat in my Disenchantment lecture and this guy came and sat next to me. He sat next to me the day before in fact. Suddenly he started speaking, asking me if I liked The Chariot, telling me heapos;d seen my hoodie, mewithoutYou t-shirt and As Cities Burn bag. We then had a massive conversation about As Cities Burnapos;s transition between the two albums, Emery, mewithoutYou, The Chariot, Anberlin, Norma Jean and other Solid State/TN bands, as well as discussing what music we liked and whether I liked Facedown Records. Anyway, turned out he played bass in a hardcore band back in America (he was from America - Chicago in fact) It was amazing because I have met no one here who likes my music His name was Stephen (or maybe Steven?) and I hope I see him again

So that was good. In terms of churches, on Sunday, Dave, Abi and I went to Crookes in the morning and Antioch Community Church in the evening.

And there is more to everything than meets the eye.

We had a fire alarm drill this morning. Standing outside in the rain at 6.37am. It was funny because I believe Harry missed it due to washing his laundry And Dan wasnapos;t there because heapos;d stopped at his girlfriendapos;s apartment. And everyone else had gone out to a club and hadnapos;t got back until 3am Poor guys. Oh, we have a PS2 now
